As a thriving and growing practice, we’re always looking for more ambitious and dedicated people to join our team. In fact, we often have opportunities in a range of roles across audit, accounts, tax and outsourcing.

As approved training partners for ACA, ACCA, AAT, CTA and ATT, we are able to support you to grow and develop in your career. You also benefit from being part of Accelerate – a wider network of independent accountancy firms, which means that you will have access to additional training, support and advice.

AUDIT ASSISTANT MANAGER

We have an excellent career opportunity for a qualified ACA or ACCA accountant to join us as an assistant manager in our audit team based in Bolton. We are one of the leading independent firms of Chartered Accountants in the North West and have a strong reputation for the quality of our audit, accountancy and tax work.

Strong audit experience and good numeracy, literacy and IT skills are essential. You must be a good communicator and team player and be hard-working and conscientious.

You will have a key role in our audit team, leading audits from planning through to completion and overseeing the on-site audit team. You will report to experienced audit managers and in some instances to audit partners. The role is a varied one and includes preparation of statutory accounts and corporation tax computations for a range of businesses. You will also be involved in the training and development of junior staff.

We use CCH systems, so any previous experience of these would be advantageous, but is not essential, as training will be provided as necessary. As you will be visiting clients off site, you must have access to your own transport.

We offer a competitive salary and other benefits include paid overtime, flexitime and free parking. We also provide ongoing technical and personal development training. The role offers very good career prospects and the opportunity for progression.
